2011 Business of the Year Award

It is our pleasure to name United Parcel Service (UPS) as the 2011 United Way of Lewis County Business of the Year! 

Visibly interwoven throughout the company, UPS boasts a culture of community involvement and philanthropy. The ideology is included in the company’s mission: "We build on our legacy as a caring and responsible corporate citizen through the conduct of our people and company in the communities we serve."

In the 28 years that UPS has supported United Way, the company and its employees have donated more than $1 billion. UPS has twice won United Way's Spirit of America Award, United Way's highest national honor for corporate involvement and commitment to building better communities.

The Chehalis Customer Service facility has been in existence since the 1960’s, and is managed by United Way of Lewis County Board Member, Mason Goeman.
