United Way of Lewis County Seeks Volunteers For 2015 Community Investment Process

United Way of Lewis County is always seeking interested community members, who live and work in Lewis County, to have a voice in the funding of human service programs throughout Lewis County.  Community Investment volunteers help to decide where the funds raised during the annual campaign are invested, or allocated.

We continue to work within our Community Impact Model and the following impact areas; Education, Income, and Health.

Community Investment Volunteers will spend an average of 15 hours over a five-week time period.  Volunteers need to simply have an interest in helping to better their community and be committed to attending the orientation as well as all of the scheduled presentations (see schedule below).

If you are interested in volunteering on the 2015 Community Investment Committee, please return the enclosed Community Investment Application to the United Way of Lewis County office by Friday, January 30, 2015.  The Community Investment Committee will be limited to 30 members and volunteers will be selected on a “first come” basis.

For more information, please call Linda Raschke at (360) 748-8100 or visit www.lewiscountyuw.com/community-investment to download the Volunteer Information Sheet and Application.
