WOMEN UNITED PRESENTS 2nd ANNUAL “COATS FOR KIDS” COAT DRIVE

Coat Drive

When winter arrives and temperatures drop, not everyone has the resources to stay warm. Join Women United and keep hundreds of Lewis County kids warm this winter by donating a new coat to the “Coats for Kids” coat drive. Donations will be accepted November 21 - December 31, 2021.  Consider the difference a warm coat will make to a local child.  Donate a new coat and help support underprivileged kids in Lewis County.

Drop off your donations at any of these thirteen participating businesses:

  • Blanton's Market - Packwood
  • Lewis County Coffee Company - ALL LOCATIONS
  • United Way of Lewis County
  • Cardinal FG
  • iBean Coffee & Mini Donuts
  • Dawn's Delectables
  • Edward Jones - Vanessa Horning
  • Good Health Nutrition Center
  • Joy's Once Upon a Thyme
  • O'Blarney's
  • Umpqua Bank - Chehalis
  • Timberland Bank - Winlock & Toledo
  • NW Home Center - Morton

All donations will benefit children in the Mossyrock and Centralia School Districts. Coats from pre-K through high school are appreciated, for both girls and boys. “After an incredible response from our community last year, we are excited to make this an annual event,” explained Women United Chair Annalee Tobey. “Each year we will rotate the program to support school districts throughout Lewis County.”

Monetary donations are also welcome. Stop by the United Way of Lewis County office in downtown Chehalis to donate to the ‘Coats for Kids’ Coat Drive today. You can help keep Lewis County kids warm this winter.
