CHEHALIS, December 7, 2016 ─ On the heels of a game-changing announcement by Apple that the company has now made Apple Pay available for approved nonprofits, United Way of Lewis County and www.lewiscountyuw.com today announced the release of Apple Pay for donations. United Way of Lewis County, with the help of developer OneEach Technologies, brings Apple’s quick payment process to its local network of supporters. Apple Pay brings a simpler, quicker and more secure option for United Way donors.

“The ability to accept donations through Apple Pay will broaden the way in which we fundraise and give back to our community,” said Debbie Campbell, Executive Director. “OneEach Technologies is a dedicated partner who continues to provide us with impactful digital tools to help those that we serve.”

With more than one billion active Apple devices in use around the world, Apple Pay contributions makes donations to nonprofits available to an unprecedented number of people. The simplicity of Apple Pay helps everyday citizens who want to contribute by allowing them to make sensible donations and relieve the hassle of filling out donation forms. The new process also brings additional transaction security to donors. Apple Pay doesn't collect any transaction information that can be tied back to consumers. Payment transactions are between users, the merchant and the bank.

“Our mission has always been to be the go-to provider of digital marketing solutions for nonprofit organizations,” said Tony Finneman, co-founder and CEO of OneEach Technologies. “To be one of the first companies in the world to develop an app and website with Apple Pay integration for non-profits has been a rewarding experience. We congratulate United Way of Lewis County for now accepting Apple Pay donations and wish them the best of success.”
