UNITED WAY OF LEWIS COUNTY TO HOST COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP LUNCHEON ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4TH AT GREAT WOLF LODGE

United Way of Lewis County is hosting their annual Community Partnership Luncheon on Thursday, October 4th at 12:00pm at the Great Wolf Lodge. The community is invited to attend this inspiring afternoon about United Way’s new strategic focus of lifting 30% of families out of poverty by 2030.

Attendees of the luncheon will be greeted by special guest Emcee Drew Mikkelsen, King 5 News’ South Sound Bureau Chief, and will have the opportunity to hear stories about the impact United Way of Lewis County is making in our community.  In June of 2017, United Way set forth with a new strategic plan to better serve Lewis County, specifically focusing their efforts on lifting 30% out of poverty by 2030.

“We hope to expand our base of support engaging more members of our community who will donate their money and also their time and voice to our bold goal of 30% of families out of poverty by 2030” stated Debbie Campbell, Executive Director of United Way of Lewis County.

In conjunction with the Community Partnership Luncheon, United Way of Lewis County is collecting jars of peanut butter to help stock the shelves of food banks across Lewis County. Guests are encouraged to bring their donation of peanut butter to the luncheon on October 4th or bring it by the United Way office located in downtown Chehalis.

United Way of Lewis County’s Community Partnership Luncheon is presented by WSECU, and sponsored by Great Wolf Lodge, The Chehalis Tribe, The Chronicle, Security State Bank, and Boeing.
